Saved 85% on Quilted Northern, Milk, Windex and More at CVS!

by ThePrudentPatron on September 2, 2012

I started this week with $7 in Extra Bucks from last week’s CVS shopping. I purchased 36 double rolls of Quilted Northern, two gallons of milk, four bottles of Windex, two 10-packs of razors and two boxes of Fig Newtons for only $10.31 out of pocket, and I still have a $2 Extra Buck left over for next week! You can see details of how I did it below.

There aren’t many freebies at CVS this week, but there are some nice deals to be had. See all the CVS Deals HERE.

Here’s What I Purchased:

Transaction #1
Bought 4 Windex All-Purpose @ $3.00 each
Used 2 $1/2 Scrubbing Bubbles All Purpose Cleaner with Fantastik, Windex Original, or Windex Multi-Surface printable
Used $5 and $2 Extra Bucks from last week’s CVS shop
Paid $3
Earned $4 Extra Bucks

Transaction #2
Bought 3 Quilted Northern Bath Tissue, 12pk Double Rolls @ $6.99 each
Bought 2 Nabisco Cookies or Crackers, 3.8-8oz @ $0.99 each
Bought 2 Bic Disposable Razors @ $3.99 B1G1 50% Off
-$1.99 deducted for B1G1 50% off sale
Used 3 $5 off Quilted Northern coupons I got at a conference
Used 2 $3/1 Bic Disposable Razor, exp. 9/2/12 (SS 08/05/12)
Used 2  $1/2 Nabisco Cookies or Crackers printable  (These say not on single serve. If they try to refuse the coupon, have them read how many servings are on the box. The Fig Newtons have 7! We may want to eat a sleeve of cookies in one sitting, but that doesn’t make it a single serving.)
Used $4 EB from transaction #1
Paid $2.93
Earned $3 Extra Bucks from the Quilted Northern

Transaction #3
Bought 2 Gallons of Milk @ $3.69 each
Used  $3 EB from transaction #2
Paid $4.38
Earned $2 Extra Bucks

Final Totals
Cost before Coupons and Sales $68.87
Total Saved $58.56
Out of Pocket Expense $10.31
Percentage of Savings 85%
Extra Bucks for Next Week $2
