Reader Question: “Hi Brittany. I “liked” The Prudent Patron a long time ago on FB. I have “show in feed” checked, but your posts still aren’t showing up in my FB feed. Any suggestions? ” – Nancy

Answer: Thanks, for asking Nancy, I’m sure many readers are having this problem too. Facebook filters our feeds a lot more than they used to and many of us are missing updates from our favorite blogs. Every bargain shopper knows you need to request the hot freebies and print the high value coupons right away or you will miss out, so it can be very frustrating when that HOT deal is pushed to the bottom of our feed or it doesn’t show up at all.

However Facebook has given us a great solution, interest lists. It takes only a minute to set up, and you will never miss a deal alert again!

Step One: Go to your favorite page, like The Prudent Patron for example ;), and click on the little wheel next to the “Message” button.

Step Two: Click on “Add to Interests Lists…”

Step Three: Click on “New List”  and name it. I named mine Saving Money.

Now you will be able to check the updates from any page on your list by clicking on the list in your left navigation bar.

Sissy Oxeye You will still be able to see you newsfeed, but when you click your interest tab, you will only see the pages you’ve selected. Also you can ad more than one page your interest category or have multiple categories.
