My first week of meal planning was thrown slightly off-course by the threat of Hurricane Isaac. I had to cancel recipes that called for new ingredients and opt for meals made from my freezer stockpile. However, I was able to follow most of my meal plan, and I loved the freedom of not having to decide what to make for dinner.
I’m feeling adventurous this week so, this week’s plan has two new recipes.
Here’s This Week’s Meal Plan:
Monday – Broiled Chicken Breast, *Golden Mashed Potatoes Green Beans
Tuesday – Pizza and Salad
Wednesday - Broccoli-Cheese Soup (new recipe)
Thursday – Chicken Souvlaki with Tzatziki Sauce
Friday – Oven Roasted Tilapia With Tomatoes, Pesto & Lemon and sauteed spinach (new recipe)
Saturday – Salmon with Yogurt Dill Sauce and Green Beans
Sunday- Leftovers
*Double batch to store in freezer
