Does your store double coupons? Will they let you to stack a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on the same item? Do they allow you to use a Buy One, Get One Free coupon with a Buy One, Get One Free sale?
All of these questions can be answered in your store’s coupon policy. Familiarize yourself with the coupon policies of the stores you frequent. Knowing your store will help you use your coupons to their full savings potential.
It is also a good idea to print out a copy of the store’s coupon policy, and take it with you when you shop. Sometimes cashiers are not informed about store policy and a polite explanation will do the trick. If not, politely show them the coupon policy. If all else fails, ask for a manager. Remember above all be polite. Grandma always said, “You catch more flies with honey, than you do with vinegar. “
